*Ellie The Performer*

My beautiful daughter had a long day today (Saturday). She danced 3 different shows. She danced 2 shows doing the hula! Her Kumu (teacher) Naomi is so awesome. She pretty much does the lessons for free. She does it because she loves to teach the children Hawaiian traditions. So the picture above is my sweetheart in her green/blue hula costume. They are all adorable.
All week we have had either Tahitian practice or hula everyday preparing for the shows. Ellie's Tahitian costume took parent involvement. WE had to make the ti leaf hip band ( not easy to learn) and make their ti leaf lei ( thank you Lei Momi, I love you!) All of the children looked darling. Ellie's Kumu Leah Sausen is so good with kids. Boy did they shake their little hips. The crowd was going wild. For those of you who don't know the difference between the Hula and Tahitian dancing.. Hula is very beautiful flowing movement, while Tahitian is all in the hips, baby! The best view to watch Tahitian is from the REAR! Just watch the videos and see what I mean.
The one is of the Kumu Leah. She is an awesome dancer!!
WE are so proud of Ellie. She is a joy to be around and we all love her so much! Great job sweetheart. Keep up the good work!

Aviator?...

Cars is such a joy to be around. We all love him so much. You can't look at him without a smile spread across your face. Well.. just look for your self. Glen got this pilot hat for him and oh boy does he love to wear it! He feels SO BIG when its on. Oh and YES he is walking already. I hate it because that makes me admit that my baby's growing up. I hate that!!
Cars is so smart. I am so amazed everyday. I just marvel at what he lets me know he has learned that day! It was overnight and BOOM he was walking. It won't be long and he'll be "Flying" out of my arms!!
HE is such a blessing. I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for him and Ellie and Dylan. (for my husband too!) I love being their Mom. Even though I am ready to NOT be their Mom by about dinnertime. :) just kidding! Sort of!
